Villa situated in the Vendee, bordering the Marais Poitevin. Giving you the choice of the dunes and beaches of the Vendee, La Rochelle or Ile de Re.
35 mins from La Rochelle offering beaches, bars, restaurants with beautiful views over the harbour. 10 mins from Fontenay le Comte with many restaurants, bars and supermarkets. 1 hour from The Puy du Fou attraction park,1 hour from Futuroscope and 45 minutes from O'Gliss Parc Aquatic. We are also only 1 hour from Sable D'Olonne where they host the Vendee Globe Sailing Race, nickenamed the Everest of the Sea. Also being only 35 minutes from La Rochelle we are well situated for the Grand Pavois boating exhibition which takes place in La Rochelle every September.
Or simply enjoy cycling, fishing, country walks, horse riding, or canoeing in the Venice Vert. Vix itself has a boulangerie, butcher, mini supermarket, restaurant, bar, bank, and horse riding center.
The villa has a pool and bbq area, large garden with a play area for children. Enclosed parking for several cars with electric gates. The house, which has been recently renovated has a large fully equipped kitchen, two lounge areas with air conditioning, 2 bathrooms, four double bedrooms, one with ensuite and air conditioning and two which can sleep three people with one double bed and one single bed. There is also a third separate wc. The house has all mod cons; dishwasher, microwave and washing machine, free Wi Fi internet access, French TNT HD and English Freesat HD.
Cots and highchairs are also available on demand. Bed linen and towels are available on demand for a supplement of 12 euros per person for bed linen and an extra 2 euros per person for towels, tea clothes and bathroom mats.
Guest Access
Full access to the house and closed garden with a secure swimming-pool BBQ area. Parking area in the garden closed with an electric gate (remote control).

Other Things to Note
in the centre of the small village (1700 inhabitants) you will find a baker, small shop for essentials: food drinks etc... also a post office and two banks with a cash point. There is also a small restaurant and a pizzeria for take away pizzas only.
During the months of July and August the bookings are on a Saturday to Saturday basis.

Dans la village de Vix il y a un centre équestre, boulangerie, boucherie, supérette, restaurant, pizzeria, bar, banque, cafe, caberet spectacle.
La villa a une piscine et un espace barbecue, grand jardin avec une aire de jeux pour les enfants. Parking fermé pour plusieurs voitures avec portails électriques. La maison, qui a été récemment rénové dispose d'une grande cuisine entièrement équipée, deux salons avec climatisation, 2 salles de bains, 4 chambres doubles, une avec une ensuite salle de bain et climatisation et deux qui peut accueillir trois personnes avec un lit double et un lit simple . Il y a aussi un troisième wc séparé. La maison dispose de tout le confort moderne; lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes et lave-linge, Wi Fi, TNT français et HD Freesat en anglais.
Berceaux et chaises hautes sont également disponibles sur demande. Merci de préciser si vous souhaitez du linge de maison à disposition. Supplément de 12 euros/personne (Draps, torchons, tapis de bain) et 2 euros/personne supplémentaire pour les serviettes de bain.
